Yoga is one of the oldest sustained, and systematic practices in the world, meant to free the mind from afflictions, free the body from stiffness, and free the soul from illusion back into oneness. Today there are many styles of yoga, each with their unique set of routines, pace, and other particularities. Yet, all styles agree that regular practice is key.

When you have a Yoga Teacher dedicated to you, they are able to guide you in real time, so you know what to engage, how to engage it, and at what time. So much of yoga postures is about regularity and breathing life into the pose. By doing so, subtle energy channels flow more freely, making some of the more difficult positions readily available. You also have the benefit of asking questions as they arise rather than trying to remember them until after class. Another advantage to private instruction is having the practice tailored to your needs.
